Even a sleeping beauty deserves to wake up to a delicious breakfast!
This breakfast bowl is packed full of oats and dried fruit which will keep your kids full till lunchtime and full of energy. It needs to be prepped the night before but takes seconds to throw everything together.
- 100g rolled oats
- 8 dried apricots, sliced thinly
- 2 tablespoons chopped, toasted almonds
- 2 tbsp raisins
- 2 tbsp dried cranberries
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 litre milk (skimmed or soya)
Combine oats, apricots, almonds, raisins, cranberries and cinnamon in a large bowl and stir to combine. Divide the mixture between 4 cereal bowls and pour over the milk. Refrigerate overnight.
Serve cold, or heat the oats in the microwave for 60-75 seconds for a warm breakfast treat.
